The Major Taylor Project comes through for Cheif Leschi students

Last fall, The Major Taylor Project suffered the loss of more than $25,000 worth of bikes that were stolen from their storage container in Tacoma, right before the bikes were to be delivered to Chief Leschi Schools for use by the Bike Club. In the pouring rain, representatives with The Major Taylor Project delivered 20 brand new bikes to the club!

The club meets every Wednesday right after school and is open to any high school student wishing to join. We are excited for our high school students to have this opportunity! Thank you Major Taylor Project!

The Major Taylor Project (MTP) is a year-round, youth development cycling program produced by the Cascade Bicycle Club Education Foundation, integrating bicycling, healthy living, bicycle maintenance, road safety awareness, and the importance of working toward individual goals.
