Door decorating contest proves tough to pick a winner

It was a hard one to call, but in the end three cleverly decorated doors stood out among the rest as winners of Children’s Services’ annual door decorating contest. After judges toured the 14 participating departments on Friday, April 6 with score sheets in hand, doors were critiqued and totals were tallied, with the top three winners as follows:

1st Place: Emergency Housing Repair – “It’s Time to Protect, To Speak Up and To Heal”

2nd Place: TERO – “STOP Child Abuse”

3rd Place: House of Respect – “Supporting Our Children to Rise  Above Abuse”

A great big “Thank You” to all the departments who took part in this year’s contest! We are very grateful for your efforts to help make a difference in the lives of children!
