The Puyallup Tribe and the Puyallup Canoe Family will welcome the “Paddle to Puyallup 2018.” We expect more than 120 canoes and 10,000 people to our territory and home waters.

Experienced carvers, adults only (due to safety in workshop) at the Canoe Shed, 5308 N. Levee Rd., Bldg. C, Tacoma, WA 98424
- Wednesday: Song and regalia making 5:30-6:30 p.m. at NE Tribal Housing, 6245 21st Street NE, Tacoma, WA 98424
- Thursday: Culture Night Song and Dance 5-7:30 p.m. at Spirit House, 2209 E. 32nd St., Tacoma, WA 98404
Basket Weaving 5-7 p.m. at the Culture Center, 3509 72nd St. E., Tacoma, WA 98443.
We are making giveaway items, baskets, necklaces, regalia. We will be weaving headbands, belts and cedar hats. Everyone is welcome to come and participate!
We will be setting up a schedule for the Sunday practice, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Monday practice, 5-7 p.m. You must sign up at the Tuesday Canoe Meeting or the Thursday Song and Dance.

Saturday, June 9, 16, 23 and 30. The Puyallup Canoe Family invites you to join us. Snacks and light lunch will be served. We will be offering the Gathering of Native Americans Teachings.
For those who cannot make our after work activities, join us. We will be making regalia, weaving baskets, belts, head bands and we also offer cedar hat making at this time.
