Student led conferences successful
This year Quest advisory launched in the middle school and high school. Throughout the year students made annual goals, took assessments of their strengths and interests, and explored careers that interested them. Then they placed their annual goals, the results of these surveys and samples of their best academic works into their portfolios. Read more...
ClS State Mandated Testing in May
The Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL) has been replaced for students in grades three through eight by the Measurement of Student Progress (MSP). The MSP will be administered during the weeks of May 11 through May 28, 2011. Both the elementary school (three through six) and students in grades seven and eight will have specific testing dates and times. Testing schedules for each school will be sent home well before the actual start of testing. Read more...
New format for HSMS Spring Parent Conferences
This spring student conferences will have a new and exciting change at Chief Leschi Schools. Students in grades 7-11 will be leading the conferences themselves. Allowing students to take charge of the conference encourages them to be more accountable for what they are learning and makes learning a more active process. Read more...

Chief Leschi Middle School and High School students have the opportunity to access attendance and schedule information on-line. NASIS (Native American Student Information System) is the system used for keeping track of enrollment, attendance and grading. Read more...

Warriors finish 7th at State 2B Tournament!
The Chief Leschi Warriors Boys Basketball Team finished 7th at this year’s 2B tournament held in Spokane. The boys finished the tournament 2-2, defeating Willapa Valley and Entiant and with losses to Liberty Christian and Napavine. Though out the tournament sportsmanship medals were awarded to Junior, Michael Wallace, Senior, Ali Ahmad and Junior, Tyler Savini. Losing only two starting seniors (Joey Bisson and Ali Ahmad) Coach Eric Smith is optimist about a return to the arena next year. Read more...
