For children eligible for the Puyallup Tribal Health Authority clinic, the Pediatric Clinic will be providing a Walk-In Sports Physical, Well Child Checks and School Immunizations clinic for the dates Aug. 23 to Sept. 3, 8-10:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. Normally, it would take an appointment to have these services. These walk-in clinic days are a special offering to prepare our students for the coming school year.
Historically, August is a very busy month for school readiness so if your school-age children need these services to attend school, please do not wait for the walk-in dates. Call the Pediatric Clinic today and make an appointment (253) 593-0232 ext 243.
Be ready for fall sports. All incoming seventh and ninth graders must have a new physical dated after June 18, 2010.
- High School football practice begins Aug. 18.
- High school volleyball, cross country and cheer practice begin Aug. 23. Please call the transportation department ahead of time and make sure you are on their pick-up list (253) 445-4000.
- Middle school football and volleyball practice will begin on Sept. 2.
