CHILDREN LINE UP FOR A CHANCE TO TALK TO SANTA CLAUS.

Chief Leschi Schools was host to a well-attended Pow-wow that brought together vendors, dancers, singers, community members and one very important guest Dec. 19. Vendors lined the hallways and cafeteria where people were free to peruse buying gifts for Christmas. The kitchen crew was kept very busy as people sought out Indian tacos and fry bread. Eight drums kept the dancers moving as the Pow-wow MC’d by Arnold Littlehead carried on in the Four Seasons gymnasium. Finally the guest of honor Santa Claus arrived and kids of all ages lined up to greet him.

Chief Leschi Schools is honored to host this event. The Pow-wow is held every third Saturday of the month. The next one will be Jan. 16. Please continue to join us.
