Last year Chief Leschi’s Sophomores exceeded Washington State’s average WASL writing scores. Ninety-four percent of the students passed, making the Class of 2010 the highest scoring sophomores to date. In celebration, students attended an ice cream social and were congratulated with a certificate of excellence. This marks a three-year increase for Chief Leschi Sophomores. It also sets the bar very high for this year’s Sophomores to surpass the 94 percent passing rate!
