JOB TITLE: Cpa/Chief Compliance Auditor

REPORTS TO: Agent Supervisor – Licensing
JOB GRADE: 8 HOURS: 40 Hr/Wk – Full Time
SALARY: D.O.Q. + Benefits
Education/Experience Requirements
Minimum of active CPA license with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field; and six years related Tribal Gaming compliance, accounting, and finance experience required. Minimum two years supervisory experience required.
Licenses/Certificates: Current CPA License. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License. Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
Other: Intermediate to expert skill in word processing, spreadsheet, database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information is required. Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of Tribal Gaming regulations, internal control procedure; Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), and investigation processes. Must have the ability to analyze and interpret Federal and State laws and statutory requirements. Communication skills and excellent written and verbal skills required. Must successfully pass an extensive background investigation prior to and periodically after employment; must have no felony convictions or misdemeanors related to illegal gambling or bribery. Must be of very high moral character and be willing to sign an oath of confidentiality.
