The Chief Leschi Lady Warriors High School Volleyball Team just completed their first ever summer league season. Playing in the Kentwood summer league program helped the Lady Warriors improve their skills and get ready for the coming fall
season.
The girls played two matches a night (three individual games per match) and refereed one match. Refereeing a match helps the girls have a deeper understanding of the overall game. Participating in summer league play were: Gabriella Tirado, Jaylene Murrietta, Tashina Duenas, Ashley Earl-Taimanglo, Qwillyn Ward, Anna Otis, Vicky Murray, Riley Clark and Arielle Whitegrass.
High school volleyball practice begins Aug. 25 at 3:30 p.m. Players are required to have a current physical, medical release form and emergency contact form in order to practice.
Questions can be directed to head coach Audrey Adams at Chief Leschi High School.
