More than 800 tribal members came out to vote in the 2008 general council election June 7. As of press time for Puyallup Tribal News, the official results had not been certified due to a protest. The determination of who will fill the two open seats on Tribal Council is yet to be determined. Look for more information in the upcoming issue of the Puyallup Tribal News.
