Hunting tags required by March 31: Bonus raffle for hunting tag return participants
It is that time of year again to return your hunting tags for your $15 refund and opportunity to win a rifle and other hunting accessories in our upcoming Wildlife Department Raffle. To be eligible for your $15 refund and raffle you must return your completed hunting tag to Tribal Enforcement offices no later than March 31. Be sure to include GMU where you hunted, what you hunted for, what you killed, kill date, sex of animal, pregnancy status or how many points for bulls/bucks. All hunters who purchased tags this year are eligible for refund and raffle with the return of the completed tag. Even if you did not get out and hunt or you did not kill anything your information is important to the Tribe in managing wildlife resources. The information you provide is used to develop future hunting seasons and regulations for the Tribe by the Tribal Wildlife Department. Tags for the upcoming 2008 season will not be issued to those hunters who do not return tags for the 2007 season. If you have any questions please contact the Wildlife Program at (253) 841-0377.
